My Bible Story

Samuel was a young boy serving in the temple under Eli. One night, Samuel heard someone call his name: “Samuel!” He ran to Eli, but Eli said he didn’t call him. After it happened three times, Eli realized it was God calling the boy. Samuel answered, “Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening,” and God spoke to him clearly.

What This Teaches Us

  • God speaks to children, not only adults.
  • We must listen with open hearts.
  • God calls us to obey His voice.
  • Quiet moments help us hear God better.

Memory Verse

“Speak, Lord, for Your servant is listening.” — 1 Samuel 3:9
