Courage to be Different (Daniel 1, 3)

My Bible Story

Daniel and his friends were taken to Babylon, a place with different beliefs and practices. They refused to eat the king’s food because it would dishonor God. Later, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego refused to bow to a golden statue. They were thrown into a fiery furnace, but God protected them — not a hair was burned!

What This Teaches Us

  • We must stand for God even when others do not.
  • Holiness means making different choices.
  • God rewards courage and obedience.
  • God is with us in every trial.

Memory Verse

“But Daniel resolved not to defile himself.” — Daniel 1:8

Activities

  • Fiery Furnace Craft: Tissue paper flames + paper cutouts.
