My Bible Story

Paul taught that the Holy Spirit produces beautiful qualities in us — called the Fruit of the Spirit. These qualities show others we belong to Jesus: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self‑control.

What This Teaches Us

  • The Holy Spirit changes us from the inside out.
  • Godly character grows over time — like fruit.
  • We can choose to walk in the Spirit daily.
  • The Fruit of the Spirit helps others see Jesus in us.

Memory Verse

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace…” — Galatians 5:22

Activities

  • Fruit Basket Craft: Kids draw fruit labeled with each character trait.
  • Spirit vs Flesh Game: Sort behaviors into “Spirit” or “Not Spirit.”
  • Love in Action: Kids name ways to show love this week.

Prayer

Holy Spirit, grow Your fruit in me. Help me show love, joy, and kindness every day. Amen.
