My Bible Story

Daniel and his friends were taken to Babylon, a place full of ungodly customs. They refused to eat the king’s food because it would defile them. They chose purity over popularity. God honored their choice and made them wiser than everyone else.

What This Teaches Us

  • We must choose holiness even when others don’t.
  • Worldliness pulls us away from God.
  • Different is good when it honors God.
  • God honors those who take a stand for purity.

Memory Verse

“Do not love the world.” — 1 John 2:15

Activities

  • Holy vs Worldly Sort: Sort actions into two categories.
  • Purity Pledge: Kids make a pledge to choose God’s ways.
  • Stand Strong Role‑Play: Practice saying “no” to peer pressure.

Prayer

Lord, help me stay pure and avoid things that dishonor You. Give me courage to stand apart. Amen.
