My Bible Story
Peter asked Jesus, “How many times should I forgive?” Jesus answered, “Seventy times seven!” Jesus then told a parable of a servant forgiven a huge debt — but that same servant refused to forgive someone who owed him very little. The master punished him because he lacked mercy. Jesus reminds us: God forgives us, so we must forgive others.
What This Teaches Us
- Forgiveness is not optional — it’s a command.
- We forgive because God forgave us first.
- Unforgiveness hurts us more than others.
- God loves a merciful heart.
