My Bible Story
Jesus told a parable about ten virgins waiting for the bridegroom. Five were wise and brought extra oil. Five were foolish and took none. At midnight the bridegroom arrived. Only the wise virgins were ready and entered the wedding banquet. Jesus teaches us to stay spiritually prepared at all times.
What This Teaches Us
- We must be ready for Jesus every day.
- Spiritual “oil” represents prayer, holiness, and faith.
- No one can borrow another person’s relationship with God.
- Jesus will return suddenly.
Memory Verse
“Watch therefore.” — Matthew 25:13
Activities
- Lamp Craft: Kids make paper lamps with “oil drops.”
- Wise vs Foolish Sort: Separate “wise actions” and “foolish actions.”
- Midnight Call Drama: Act out the parable.
Prayer
Lord, help me stay ready for Your return. Fill my heart with Your Spirit. Amen.
