My Bible Story

Jesus told His disciples that before He returns, certain signs will appear. These include wars, earthquakes, famines, fear, and the gospel being preached everywhere. Jesus said these signs are like “birth pains” — reminders that His return is getting closer. We are not to fear, but to watch and stay ready.

What This Teaches Us

  • Jesus wants us to be watchful, not fearful.
  • God is in control, even when the world looks troubled.
  • End-time signs remind us to live holy lives.
  • The gospel must be preached to all nations.

Memory Verse

“When these things begin to happen, look up… your redemption draws near.” — Luke 21:28
