My Bible Story

Stephen was one of the first deacons in the early Church. He preached boldly about Jesus, even when people became angry. Stephen was arrested and stoned to death — but he saw Jesus standing at the right hand of God! Revelation also speaks of believers who died for their faith. Jesus promises a great reward for those who stay faithful even in persecution.

What This Teaches Us

  • Following Jesus may bring persecution.
  • God gives courage to stand firm.
  • Heaven is the reward for faithful believers.
  • We must love and forgive even when treated unfairly.

Memory Verse

“Be faithful unto death, and I will give you the crown of life.” — Revelation 2:10

Activities

  • Crown of Life Craft: Make crowns with “Faithful to Jesus” labels.
  • Stand Firm Scenes: Act out standing firm for Jesus.
  • Forgiveness Heart: Write names of people to forgive.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, give me courage to stand for You always. Help me stay faithful no matter what. Amen.
