My Bible Story
One day, every believer will stand before Jesus—not to be punished, but to receive rewards. Paul said our works are like gold, silver, precious stones… or wood, hay, and straw. Jesus will test our works with fire. Only what was done for Him will last. Faithful believers will receive crowns and eternal rewards!
What This Teaches Us
- Believers will give an account to Jesus.
- Rewards are based on obedience, not popularity.
- Only works done for God will last forever.
- We should live for eternal rewards, not temporary fun.
Memory Verse
“We must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.” — 2 Corinthians 5:10
Activities
- Gold vs Hay Sort: Sort actions into “eternal” or “temporary.”
- Crown Craft: Create crowns representing heavenly rewards.
- Build to Last: Build two structures — one strong, one weak.
Prayer
Lord, help me live for eternal things. Let my life be filled with works that honor You. Amen.
