Week 39: Using Your Gifts

Serving Without Fear (Matthew 25:14–30)

My Bible Story

Jesus told the Parable of the Talents. A master gave three servants different amounts of money. Two servants used what they were given and gained more. The third servant buried his talent out of fear and was punished. God wants us to use our gifts boldly — not hide them!

What This Teaches Us

  • God gives everyone gifts and abilities.
  • Fear should not stop us from serving.
  • Using our gifts brings reward.
  • Hiding our gifts displeases God.

Memory Verse

“Well done, good and faithful servant.” — Matthew 25:23

Activities

  • Talent Treasure Box: Kids write their gifts on “treasure coins.”
  • Do Not Hide It!: Decorate a poster showing how to use gifts boldly.
  • Gift Challenge: Practice one gift during the week (kindness, singing, helping).

Prayer

Lord, help me use my gifts for Your glory. Take away fear and fill me with boldness. Amen.
