My Bible Story

In the early Church, some widows were not receiving food. The apostles chose seven faithful men to help serve so that everyone was cared for. This showed that serving is just as important as preaching. Everyone has a part to play.

What This Teaches Us

  • Serving others is serving God.
  • Every job in the Church matters.
  • We should look for ways to help.
  • Leaders need helpers to do God's work.

Memory Verse

“Serve one another in love.” — Galatians 5:13

Activities

  • Serving Chart: Kids list ways they can serve at church.
  • Helping Hands Craft: Trace hands and write “I will serve.”
  • Role‑Play Helpers: Act out scenarios of serving others.

Prayer

Lord, teach me to serve others with joy. Help me find my place in Your Church. Amen.
